"Gusher" style pads are tailored so that the top few layers of fabric are cut, to allow them to fray. The fray is an excellent gush/clot absorber!

Your gusher pad will come "un-prepped", meaning it won't be frayed until you do your initial/pre-wearing wash. Once your gusher has been through a few more washes the fray will open up to it's full potential!

Mega Flare Cloth Pads are shaped to cater to a flow that travels more to the back or front of the pad, instead of the centre. If your flow travels more to the front, place the pad in your underwear with the broader half at the front. Broader half to the back, for a back flow.

Materials & Core information:

Your "Gusher" Pad will consist of the "topper" layer of Cotton Spandex (95% Cotton, 5% Spandex), plus 4 layers of Cotton Flannel (100% Cotton) that are exposed through the slits in the fabric.

Underneath the top Gusher layers there is another hidden core layer sewn to a layer of Organic Cotton Muslin (100% Organic Cotton). Inner cores are as follows:

Heavies - Hemp French Terry (55% Hemp, 45% Organic Cotton)

Supers - Super Heavy Organic Bamboo Fleece (70% Bamboo Rayon, 30% Organic Cotton)

Ultras - Super Heavy Organic Bamboo Fleece & a Booster Layer of Zorb (28% Cotton, 26% Tencel, 23% Bamboo viscose, 13% Polyester, 10% Nylon)

"Backer" Fabric that sits against your underwear: Black liquid-proof Oeko-Tex certified Dintex Softshell Fleece (100% Polyester)

Snapped Widths per Absorbency

Our Cloth Pads have two socket snaps to choose between two different width options. The width of each Pad varies per absorbency, and are approximately as follows:

Heavies ● 2.75" & 3"

Super Heavies ● 3" & 3.25"

Ultra Heavy Wides ● 3.5" & 3.75"
